- 35. TYPES OF WATER WALKS RUNWAY A runway walk is a great way to raise awareness and get a lot of participants involved. Find a public place to set it up where you can draw passersby — a public park, your school cafeteria, the main lawn on campus. Setting up the runway can be as simple as putting two strips of tape on the ground. Recruit a friend with a camera to snap photos of participants.
