Definition: a government that is oppressive and gives people fear to
intimidate their people and watch their every move

2. Vladimir Lenin
Lenin was a communist leader of Russia from 1922 to
1924, he led the Bolsheviks through the revolution of
the soviet union. His NEP was a mixture of
communism and capitalism

3. Stalin
His great purges were the elimination of Stalin's
"enemies". The Five-Year Plan was a road map for
Stalin's goals of industrialization.Collectivization was a
system where private farms were eliminated. Instead,
the government owned all of the land and the peasents
only worked on it.

4. Mao Zedong
Mao Zedong was a leader in China.
Mao was responsible for the First Five Year Plan and
also, The Second Five Year Plan.
Mao Zedong defeated Chiang Kai-shek to gain control
of China.

5. Mao Zedong Continued
The Cultural Revolution wasn’t really a revolution. It was an
excuse to make sure communism can be built smoothly. Zedong
thought that some people were not following communism. So, the
Cultural Revolution was so that the government could kill the
people that didn’t obey them.
Mao Zedong’s Great Leap forward was It was Mao's attempt to
modernize the economy of China. The reason for it was so China
would have an economy that stood out more then America's.

6. Hitler
Mein Kampf was a book written about Hitler’s beliefs
and goals for Germany.
The Reichstag Fire was arson on the building, place of
meeting of German Parliament, in Berlin. The Nazis
were using this as proof that communists were starting
a plot against Germany’s parliament.
The SS was a large security and military organization of
the Nazis.
