Grain Originations, Grain Operations, and Plant Management
 Became proficient in Grain Operations and management while working with Mike Stricker.
 Originated over 1 million additional bushels for Uniopolis.
 Managed various smaller branches that were not profitable turning them profitable
 Functioned as Emergency Response Operations Manager for 4 years
 Helped co-manage and train the manager trainee at South Charleston. The elevator had not
been profitable, but produced large profits the following year.

 Promoted to VP Grain, Regional Grain Manager, Head Merchandiser and Head of
Originations. Improved gross selling revenue over 50% first year and maintained this level
for the following years.
 Directed P&L responsibilities for four locations and supervised six direct reports with a staff
of 40 full time employees.
 Directed monthly safety meetings, gathered information directly from staff on how to
improve work hazards, and developed different ways for non-vocal personnel to express
themselves. Reduced reportable accidents to zero since initiating new program.
 Developed and implemented sales, marketing, strategicplanning, pricing strategies,
transportation, and safety initiatives.
 Produced $1.5 million in grain profits in 2001-2002.
 Managed sales and hedging of 7-10 million bushels corn, 1 million bushels soybeans, 400,000
