NSA & NSA prime contractors

1. We have developed a technology – Validy Technology – which assures the integrity of
any software application. It protects regular IT applications as well as embedded
applications. It is invented by us and is covered by worldwide patents.
2. Validy Technology uses a combination of hardware and software. It detects and counters
zero days attacks. It does not need to know the signature of the attack. It meets the
demands by NSA for software assurance.
3. Validy Technology is not a firewall or shield, it alters the application, at design time, so
that the application protects itself. The application protects itself from external cyber
attack and also from attack by internal infiltration.
4. Field updates to the application are unaffected by the use of Validy Technology. This is a
key strength of our invention.
5. Validy Technology employs a security co-processor – SCoP – connected to the main
processor. The SCoP form can be either discrete, for example: USB stick, SD card,
PCIexpress card, ... or integrated into the processor chip or chipset.
6. A compiler using Validy Technology processes the application and relegates some critical
data and functions to be processed in the SCoP. SCoP instructions are encrypted. Further
checks within the SCoP ensure that any unexpected commands are detected and
appropriate countermeasures are generated. The encryption key, the relegated data,
functions and the countermeasures type are chosen by the application’s author. So the
protection is unique and outside the control or knowledge of Validy.
7. When applied to protecting applications such as Firewalls and Anti-virus, Validy
Technology provides Defense in Depth
8. We have created USB SCoP and a post compiler – Java SoftNaos – for Java applications.
Java SoftNaos is a fully working product (NASA - TRL8). Compilers for other languages can
be created too.
9. We welcome industrial partners, such as NSA prime contractors, who would want to
licence Java SoftNaos to protect a specific Java application or to license Validy
Technology to create their own SCoP and write their own compilers for NSA.
10. SCoP and compilers produced by NSA prime contractors have the advantage of allaying
concerns regarding their integrity and security as well as sovereignty of design and
ownership.
