Message from Stephanie Wachman
President, ICF Colorado
I am thrilled to report that our membership is
way up. We are now at 100 active members,
so thank you all for supporting ICF Colorado,
and please continue to bring colleagues and
guests to our upcoming meetings.
This is going to be a terrific month, and we
have a lot to share. Early Bird Registration for
the October 17th One Day Conference is
going to be exclusively available to ICF
Colorado members for a limited time. The cost
for early bird registrations will be $159. We
have a very limited amount of seats and are accepting

info@icfcolorado.org, and we will be able to secure a spot for you
until registration officially opens. The theme for the Red Rocks
Conference is "Unleashing the Authentic Leader Within." This
conference will deliver real, applicable insight and information for
sustainable results. It is also designed to support our coach/leader
community in getting to know one another, and the service we can
provide others.
The morning keynote presenter will be Julio Olalla, a recognized
leader in the field of personal transformation. Considered by many
to be the founder of coaching, he has trained over 50,000 executive
coaches worldwide and worked with CEOs and heads of government
around the world. A sought-after keynote speaker, he is a member
of the Coaching Hall of Fame, author of From Knowledge to Wisdom:

Wish you were better at closing sales?
Wish you could get more comfortable with
selling yourself? Frustrated because you
haven’t found a way to do that without
sounding too slick and salesy?
Denise Hedges is an expert in sales and marketing. She can teach
you how to sell by being your most authentic self. When you come
from a place of integrity, genuine caring, and a deep desire to serve
people, you’re automatically more attractive to potential clients.
You'll learn how to use the core competencies of active listening,
powerful questioning, and direct communication throughout the
sales process. It’s all about establishing trust and being of service to
people.
The subjects covered in this presentation are business development,
marketing and sales. And Denise provides these by focusing on the
ICF core competencies of active listening, powerful questioning, and
direct communication as they pertain to the sales process. She’ll
show you how selling is really about establishing trust and being of
service to people. This will not only result in a larger client base and
more income, but also better and stronger relationships with clients
and potential clients.

You’ll find out how to do so with multi-faceted marketing

be a good lead).

Time to Celebrate!
We hit 100 members last month! It was our goal! Let’s all take time to acknowledge ourselves for
what we did to contribute to that. Maybe you invited someone to a meeting. Maybe you really
connected with one of our guests, and then they became a member. In some way, just by being a
member, you helped us reach out goal! We don’t always take the time we should to celebrate. Will
you take a moment and dance in a circle to celebrate you? Humor me here! I think we miss the
opportunity to celebrate all the great things we do in life. Take a moment and reflect right now on
one thing you want to celebrate yourself for today. Acknowledge yourself for that and all the great
things you do! I look forward to seeing you at the meeting and celebrating!

Tom Lietaert, ICF Colorado Communications Chair Membership in the ICF Colorado Time to Celebrate! We hit 100 members last month! It was our goal! Let’s all take time to acknowledge ourselves for what we did to contribute to that. Maybe you invited someone to a meeting. Maybe you really connected with one of our guests, and then they became a member. In some way, just by being a member, you helped us reach out goal! We don’t always take the time we should to celebrate. Will you take a moment and dance in a circle to celebrate you? Humor me here! I think we miss the opportunity to celebrate all the great things we do in life. Take a moment and reflect right now on one thing you want to celebrate yourself for today. Acknowledge yourself for that and all the great things you do! I look forward to seeing you at the meeting and celebrating!
