Currently, I am Business Unit President of CBIZ Benefits and Insurance Services of Minneapolis. I have been working in the employee benefits field since 1984. I owned and operated Michels Financial Group for six years before merging with the Grant Nelson Group in 1990, where I was a key factor in Grant Nelson’s emergence as one of the leaders in the industry. On December 31, 1997, The Grant Nelson Group merged with CBIZ. During my career, I have worked with employers ranging in size from hundreds to thousands of employees, in all geographic regions of the United States as well as internationally. My focus is on helping employers understand how to develop long-term strategies to effective.
