Management perceptions – time needed   Size & level range of courses - 850 hr 3-4 levels Different systems, applications, configurations Students’ lack of motivation, commitment  Students’ lack of literacy, IT, study skills Students’ geographical & social isolation Infrastructure & beaurocracy
Dealing with the challenges - How? “Buy time” – Australians Working Together, State Building Diversity funding 2008 Integrate – all levels in one LMS course  Find/map pre-existing online resources/ interactives  Gap fill by developing new resources/activities
