2. A "carrier" means any person or company
who, in a contract of carriage, undertakes to
perform or to procure the conveyance of goods
by road, air, sea, or inland waterway or by a
combination of such modes.
3. • The seller hands over the goods, cleared only
for export not import, into the charge of the
carrier (selected/nominated by the buyer) to
deliver at the named place.
• The seller loads the goods IF the carrier
pickup is at the seller’s premises.
4. • After the custom clearance, the buyer bears costs and
risks in moving the goods to the named destination.
• For marine insurance, it is state that INCOTERMS®2010
does not obligate the buyer nor the seller must insured
the goods.
• Therefore, this issue will be addressed elsewhere in
sales contract between buyer and seller.
