Dear Madam/Sir:
I am very pleased to have the opportunity to write a recommendation letter for
Leyla Cicen who worked as a part-time Aftercare Attendant at the French
Academy of Bilingual culture from December 2011 through June 2013. Leyla’s
welcoming smile, friendly and warm disposition made children, staff and
parents very comfortable. Always arriving before her shift and always notifying
me ahead of time when she needed time off, Leyla was always very dependable.
Her main responsibilities entailed overseeing the safety and happiness of over
20 children for a three hour period three to four days per week. During that
time Leyla engaged children in creating some “Aftercare rules”, implemented
games and a schedule of varying activities. The creative measures she devised
provided a warm, safe and fun environment.
Leya went above and beyond her duties as an Aftercare Attendant. She
frequently offered to stay late to accommodate parents arriving past pick up
time. Before her shift started, she cleaned and re-organized a school closet;
she volunteered during school events and fundraisers and on many occasions,
brought stickers for the children. Leyla even took the time to download various
children’s songs on her tablet for the children’s enjoyment. Whenever a child
needed extra attention she would take the time to listen, speak with him/her,
finding the right words to find a solution. Parents appreciated her feedback
and the pleasure their child derived from the program. Her patience, kind-heart
and nurturing personality made her a great asset to our team.

for you or your organization.
