SALARY SURVEY 2009 RESULTS SUMMARY

Survey roll-out The Mindworx Salary Survey was conducted online during the month of July 2009. Respondents had to fall within one of the following job types; Business Analyst, Project Manager, Process Engineer and Business Intelligence Professionals.  The survey comprises two parts; part 1 covers basic information and part 2, more detailed insights. Respondent were given a choice of either answering Part 1 only or both Parts 1 and 2.    Part 1 - Basic information Part 2 - Detailed  Information Part 2 - Detailed information ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object]
Sample size 750 respondents participated in part 1 & 654 carried on with part 2 – a 13% fall out rate. The size of the research universe is unknown but this response rate is accepted  a statistically representative sample. *   The sample size for Process Engineer & Business Intelligence job types  Is small and not  statistically representative. Market related remuneration Do you feel that your annual salary (including benefits) is market related? n = 555 Only 54% of the sample consider their salaries to be market related.
Length of employment n = 742 Length of employment with current employer? n = 397 n = 33 n = 39 n = 273 This category of professionals has a wide range of experienced individuals. No particular skew! Most respondents have been with their current employer for 1– 2 years only, indicating a high propensity to  job hop.
