Mizzou Therapy Services is holding a "Pink Out" competition to raise awareness for breast cancer in advance of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Therapy locations are decorating their clinics and staff in pink and submitting photos to judges. The winning team will get to pie the Therapy Director with pink whipped cream. The competition aims to encourage participation in the upcoming Race for a Cure event in Columbia, Missouri on September 12th.

Mizzou Therapy Services’ “PINK OUT” Competition RaisesAwarenessfor Breast Cancer.
Mizzou Therapy Services – September, 4, 2015 – As the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure approaches,
Mizzou Therapy Services is raising awareness of breast cancer with a friendly intradepartmental competition.
To participate in the “Pink Out” competition, therapy locations are decorating their clinic and staff with the color
pink and submitting photos to a group of judges. The judges are made up of various employees at University
Hospital, Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, and The Missouri Orthopaedic Institute.
The winning team will gather next week to throw pink whipped pies at Therapy Director Brett Hayes. The
department hopes the competition will raise awareness of breast cancer and encourage locals to sign up for
the Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure. The race begins at Peace Park in Columbia, MO on Saturday,
September 12th,
2015.
