Nicole Maestas worked as a valued employee of The Colorado Statesman in
2014 and 2015, serving as the newspaper’s Creative Director and Production
Manager. In those capacities, she regularly utilized Quark Express and Adobe
Indesign software as well as Photoshop, Illustrator and other professional
software to layout our weekly newspaper content, design our house graphics
and ads and client advertising and creative content.
This year, Ms. Maestas was instrumental in helping us redesign our print
edition publication, including our flag which is printed above as the letterhead.
Ms. Maestas was an asset to our team and was a wonderfully pleasant person
to work with and a very professionally mannered employee. As an excellent
graphic designer and creative professional, I endorse her abilities and
