What is HFSS ?
 HFSS - High frequency structure simulator
 HFSS is an industry-standard simulation tool
for 3D full-wave electromagnetic field
simulation.
 It is essential for the design of high-
frequency and high-speed component design
Applications:
 On-chip embedded passives
and PCB
 interconnects
 Antennas and RF/microwave
components
 High-frequency IC packages
 EMC/EMI
 Biomedical devices
DEMO Model:
Lets design a 50-ohm micro-strip line.
