1. For my final major project I will be creating an ident using moving images.
The ident will be featured before all of my films, just like many other production companies.
The ident will be aimed at families as the ident will be advertising family friendly films.
Pixar and Dreamworks have some of my favourite ident as they are memorable and will thought-out.
Both of these companies aim at families when it comes to making their films, this is even shown in
there idents. In Pixar’s ident they use personified lamps which are quite comical and very
memorable.
So how would I use previous idents to my advantage?
When brainstorming ideas I had to come up with an ident that would be family friendly and
somewhat memorable so that people would recognise the logo when it is on other media products.

I was also looking for something that has not been done before. So I came up with the rotating world
idea.
This is where the world would rotate several time showing different environments and all so
showing of the animation skills that I have acquired. (Story Boards)
During the production of the ident I will use programmes such as illustrator and after effects.
I will be using Photoshop and Illustrator to create objects and characters that may feature in the
final project. I will use After Effects and Premier Pro to animate these objects. Once it is complete
the ident will feature before of my films.
