3. Context
working, leisure, living...city mobility is the main issue in a modern
city. People have multiple means of transport, often ubiquitous
internet connection, but a few ways to choose the best option
available, affordable and with the best environmental impact.
4. Problem
traffic congestions, shortage of parking slots, access to the city
centre, low transports sharing, identification of accessible places,
CO2 emissions, “silos” of info-mobility, networks of sensors are not
integrated.
5. Strategy
Integrate, aggregate...and then disaggregate information.
A multi-channel, multi-layer, multi-device, open-source system.

6. - Real Time Traffic Information
- Parking Information (capability,
availabilty, rates, opening hours, etc.)
- Critical Events Information
(Congestions, road works, traffic
restrictions)
- Access Control Cameras
- Bike Lanes (public bike parkings)
- Street cleanings
- Buses
(stops, lines, Solution
realtime tracking) Addressing special targets, like bikers, policemen or disabled
- Accessible places
people, with a crowd-sourcing approach & in a co-design
environment!
7. Reflections
There's no need to invent or implement new services or sensors.
A smart city is a connected city with connected citizens upon
connected data, where the main metering is the quality of life.
