What is Ad Hoc Analysis?


    • New capability
    • Allows administrators to re-run analysis for a fixed set of time
      on a profile
    • Very small analyses are free; others can be purchased for
      credits
    • Your account manager has details

Ad Hoc Analysis


    How It Works
    • Available only for full Analytics profiles
    • When you kick off an ad hoc analysis, the profile’s normal
      analysis continues to run. Ad hoc analysis runs separately and
      accumulates all report data
    • When ad hoc analysis catches up to today or most recent traffic
      collected, it publishes the results to the profile’s report data
      location

    • Added the ability to filter data extractions based on dimensions
      (i.e., include only data for a specific country or state)
    • Standard Boolean operations work with this functionality
      (i.e., include Oregon and Washington, not Portland)
    • Can also sort by a measure in a single-dimension report
      (i.e., all pages sorted by bounce rate in extraction) –
      descending only
    • Generator has been updated to reflect these changes.
