2. Street Alley
• A street alley is a good location to
choose for my magazine. This
location would be easy to use for my
setting as it is easily accessible and
also are very easy to find. The street
alley fits in with the genre of my
magazine – rock/metal music.
Further to this, the only type of issue
that this location would create is
dependency on the weather. Rain
and or dull weather would not look
bright on my production pieces and
would therefore mean my images
would need to be brightened using
photoshop.
3. Forest
I chose the location of a forest as it is
quite a secluded setting and depicts a
relaxed mood between the reader of my
magazine and the artist. In terms of being
easy to get to the location; it would be
fairly easy but dependent on the weather
as dull weather would not look great for a
cover as the background would
particularly dark which would not look
great on a cover. However, as long as the
weather is of good quality, it should be an
easy location to take photos at.
4. Brick Wall
• A brick wall has been chosen as a
location as it is a very accessible
location to find as someone producing
a magazine. The colours of the
clothing I want my model to wear will
not clash with this particular location
as they will not be of the same colour
scheme. A brick wall is also fairly
bright when an image of it is taken as
flash reflects back off of it meaning
there will be no need for editing. The
brick wall also goes well as it is a
stereotypical background used and
also depicts a relaxed mood which
correlates with my music genre.
