Weekly Progress
This week our team engineering show touch switch
circuit and RGB to product design team. I think that it’s not
stable so, I was searching for new technique for make touch
switch circuit. I was found IC WB2080B, it is touching IC.
The WB2080 is a touch pad detector IC which offers 8
touch keys. The touching detection IC is designed for
replacing traditional direct button key with fixed pad size. Low

The main remote control technology used in the home is infrared. The signal between a remote control
handset and the device it is controlling are infrared pulses, which are invisible to the human eye. The
transmitter in the remote control handset sends out a pulse of infrared light when a button is pressed on the
handset. A transmitter is often a light emitting diode (LED) which is built into the pointing end of the remote
control handset. The infrared light pulse represents a binary code that corresponds to a certain command,
such as (power on). The receiver passes the code to a microprocessor, which decodes it and carries out the
command.
Engineering Analysis
Strong Point - A WB2080 was used in any product that use interface by touched, so I think it will we stable.
Week Point - A WB2080 is surface mount. It is hard to make with PCB.
Next Week Job
Next week, we will test circuit with IC WB2080 after I received its.
