1. We started by going on to dafont.com and looked for some fonts we thought would work well with our CD cover. After looking through many fonts we decided to use this one:

2. Lily designed the text for ‘Labrinth’. She designed it and then scanned it onto the computer. We then used the magic wand tool to crop the image as the background was not white. After we laid out where we wanted to put the text.

3. When we was going through the lyrics for the album we realised there was a few swear words, therefore we decided to go onto google and get the logo for parental guidance to let the customers know that the album contains some swear words.

4. We took a picture of our actor from behind with my camera, we then uploaded it on to the computer. Lily and I only wanted his body and not the background so we used the magic tool again to erase the bits we didn’t want. We was then left with just his body.

5. After adding the parental guidance logo and the picture of our actor we decided that we didn’t like the way the text was, therefore we slanted ‘labrinth’ and ‘sunshine’ and put it on the left hand side.

6. We wanted to use the same colour throughout the album cover, so we used the colour we used on the font cover for the border as the background of the spine. We then placed ‘Labrinth’ and ‘Sunshine’. However we didn’t use the same text as when we tried to it wasn’t clear enough.

7. Lily and I decided we thought it would be better to have the text in the middle with a star in the middle. ‘Labrinth’ is bigger and is in bold as we felt it was the main focus of the CD as he his the artist.

8. We remembered that we should put the Syco record label logo on the spine so we added it to either end.

9. Once we finished the spine we went on to making the back cover. We used the same text we used for the front cover. And we also added the parental guidance logo.

10. We added some text about copyright and some information about Sony entertainment and Syco music. And we added a barcode.

11. We wanted the songs which will be featured on the cd to be the main focus, therefore we put the songs in the centre of the back cover. We moved the artists name and the name of the CD at the top.

12. We went onto Publisher and decided to add the front cover, spine and back cover all together so we could see what the Digi-pack looks like altogether.
