OBJECTIVES:
Actively seeking, new Project Management or Line Management challenges, (Contract or

SUMMARY:
I am a committed A hard working, flexible, customer/Stakeholder focused Project Manager, also
experience in Presales, Implementation and Customer Service, additional skills include, excellent
verbal and Technical skills combining a wealth of knowledge in IT, Telco operations, Project
Governance and bid management, in both business experience and theory. Over 25 years of project
exposure, extensively in the IT Telecommunications Industry, to include construction, Presales and
Integration.
Management skills gained in running Projects for industries including London 2012 Olympics,
Government, MOD, Banking, Finance, Telecommunications and Pharmaceutical, Industrial and
Public sector for Both Large and small businesses. This included liaisons with directors, senior
managers and customers/clients (third parties) including sub-contracting companies.
Using my managerial skills and business change experience, my teams have had a very positive
attitude to the different aspects of the projects and a confident attitude to problem solving the
customer’s issues. This meant the whole team, including myself, having a “CAN DO” attitude
towards all issues arising and not shying away from the hard ones. This was due to building a man
managed and disciplined team, focusing the team on their strong points and addressing and
building on their weaker ones.
This was in demanding fast-paced environments, where logical and proven project management
methodologies, approach was required which demonstrates initiative/creativity with a keen ability to
organise, plan and prioritise own workload within strict deadlines in demanding fast-paced

Latest Employment Senior Project Manager
Dec 2013 –March 2015 Working with N Power on a large Migration Project called PC Refresh, managing the
deployment of over 12000 users and working in all areas of the Project from UAT to
delivery this included a migration of the email from the UK Network to the New
Group Servers (Cloud), also changing all the Hardware machines from XP to Win 7,
in addition moving the Users to the Group Network, giving them new Group ID’s part
of this is managing the collection of Data from all sites, from Site Survey to Remote
Surveys, also working with Computacenter and WIPRO upgrading infrostucture and
Systems
Additionally finding what software, was compatible with Win7 and what required
Remediation, In addition, also migrating all existing email out and into the N Power
secure cloud, in this role, I am also the External dependences Manager, which
covers all new projects across the business, aligning them to PC Refresh and
managing their dependences and deployment dates so there are no conflicts and
making sure any new Applications or version of applications are brought into scope
Previous Employment Senior Project Manager
March 2013 - Dec 2013 Working with Line Management on a large Data centre in Finland, managing and
planning all major integration projects, within the complex, in addition the planning
and installation of fibre and copper, for all areas and the cluster area in addition
planning and installing various projects, covering all communications rooms and all
systems within the project to include, looking after H&S and welfare of all staff on
this large busy site

Contractor CIS Working with BAA on the Maximo asset database, ,working with both Version 7.5
and Version 8 cleaning incorrect Data from the Database and replacing with new
descriptions for all assets from the Common Language, redefining and renewing all
the assets on Heathrow airport, working on Processes and delivery of capturing all
systems and assets affecting all terminals to encompass all outside offices and
buildings including but not limited to all life safety systems, Lifts Escalators
walkways etc moving on into Fire systems communications systems and all other
assets at Heathrow

Nov 2010 – Nov 2012 Senior Project Manager Electranet UK
Permanent Senior Project Manager working on major projects such as the London 2012
Olympics, after gaining the project as the LOCOG Gap cabling Manager,
I was involved in the original Bid management team’s dealings with LOCOG,
enabling me to create a detailed project plan and Project Manage all aspects of the
design and installation, of all venues and off park sites, which started with a 1.6m
order from LOCOG.
In addition I had to Manage, a team of 120 full time engineers copper and Fibre,
cabling specialists.
Establish relationships and manage expectations of stake holders and venue
management.
During this time I was responsible for all 167 sites and venues, quoting, planning
and installing the Timing and scoring cabling for OMEGA, and all scoreboard
cabling fibre and copper for Panasonic, all OFCOM cabling fibre and copper, in
addition any cabling that was not being covered by BT such as all Audio cabling,
and all other Capture technology cabling and equipment requirements for all
functional areas and provide within budget solutions.
Also cabling both Copper and Fibre for the outside broadcast team,
Work with international service providers such as BT, Omega Panasonic, OFCOM,
and various audio companies’.
Produce detailed network designs including containment, cable routes and fibre
patch cabinets. Perform consolidation exercises to reduce expenditure while
protecting user requirements
Review and update architectural technology drawings (CADs).
Produce detailed cabling schedule prioritising key areas and taking into
consideration all Venue User Agreements.
Schedule and oversee the installation of all technology Cabling and ensure
accuracy as per the venue design, Plan and manage the post-competition removal
of all installed cabling.
During this time I was responsible for the ordering equipment and arranging for
resource for all sites, also acting as the Health and Safety manager for all the
installation’s producing site specific RAMS also resolving all issues, in a timely
manner to allow the successful completion of the games.
Integration Manager
Working with several Hotels chains including, acting as Site Integration Manager/
Senior project Manager on the new Corinthia 6 Star Hotel in Whitehall London, my
responsibilities included managing the 1.3m P&L for the initial contract including all
communication installations, within the new build, such as Planning installation and
design of the CCTV, security system, Alarm System, PBX system, Wireless LAN
installation, planning and completing the Data network and Comms rooms Builds
including electrical, structural and cabling installation, this also included several
Satellite dishes and the terrestrial aerial, implementing delivery processes to ensure
the Corinthia Hotel was delivered in time and within budget, this includes the overall
system installation and integration, in addition installing the Bose sound system
and several other systems site wide, additional areas such as the new Spar, Gym
and residential Apartments, were all connected back to the main comms room and
systems, making them compatible with the Main Hotel
Another Hotel delivered at this time covered the running of BAU and new
installations was the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Royal suite
Oct 2009 – Nov 2010 Consultant IT Network consultants
Contractor CIS Trouble Shooter Business advisor, assisting with several projects,
working on Presales from bid management through product planning and execution
through to delivery and signoff
Within this role my responsibilities included assisting with Presales and identify
opportunities for product innovation and product enhancements, also Maintain a full
understanding of market conditions and customer needs at the same time assisting
the Project Managers with Bid Management, Planning and Integration with this
gaining customer confidence and in some cases regaining customer conference.
In addition looking at the build strategy and evaluation of systems. Writing Training
documents where required and assist Sales and Marketing with Product
presentations and tech info
This included a re-design of the customer procedures and processes allowing them
to work with existing and new products and ultimately meet customer SLA’s and
requirements, this was for small medium and large companies, across the UK.
Dec 2007- Oct 2009 Virgin Media Senior project Manager Business
Contractor CIS Principle responsibilities, were managing various installation projects. From
Presales, Project Governance, RFP, Bid management, PID completion,
Implementation, Planning, change and Risk Management, through to conclusion
and signoff.
This required me to assist the customers in developing new networking systems; on
a UK wide basis. During this time I completed projects as a senior Customer
Project manager for companies such as JANET(UK), NHS, and local Government.
The projects involved the installation of Fibre and copper links, CCTV traffic
management systems, WiMax installations, Network equipment for hospitals, local
Government buildings, schools, Colleges, small and large companies across the
UK, these included Network rail camera installation, ICT Infrastructure to Greenfield
sites. WAN./LAN / CCTV/ Mobile Networks and Active Directory PABX, PBX and
VOIP systems. In addition Health and Safety, moves and changes, Billing, method
statements, risk assessments and design changes, were included.
NTL Project Manager T5 Heathrow and NTL PCR for Safety onsite
Principle responsibilities included managing the installation of a Cat6 infrastructure,
testing, acquisition, quality control and handover. I was the Quality inspection
Manager for all of BA spaces within the new terminals, responsible for handing over
these areas after completion to BA and BAA this includes managing the 2nd
Tier
Contractors during both Quality inspections and Witness test to confirm
conformance. In addition I was the NTL PCR, with the responsibility for the whole
site, managing all the contract companies, safety awareness and arranging DAB’s
meetings (Daily Activity Briefing) for contractors and BA/ BAA staff. I was
responsible for Method statements and documentation including supplying the CAD
personnel with, as built drawings from Version 1 through to sign off
July 2005 to Feb 2007 Southern Region Project Manager Pinacl Solutions UK .
Permanent Managing all Southern region projects and new Business from presales through
development to deployment which included a Refit at Colchester Garrison Both
Internal and external cabling. Including the integration of Telephone, Data
Networks, Wireless LANs and CCTV
At the same time I took on the role of managing the Gatwick airport CCTV upgrade,
to include the installation of cameras around the whole airport using where
appropriate Power over UTP and Fibre Cable I was also managing the evaluation of
the existing system and installation of CCTV and Network Hardware to include
Cisco switches EVO’s, Raids and NVT CCTV equipment and Data centre build and
moves, also installed their PABX, PBX and VOIP systems
Installation of new and changes upgrades of existing Cameras and the migration
from the existing system to the new system
In this role working as Principle contractor for BAA covering all aspects of project

April 2004 to Jul 2005 Asset Assurance Project Manager (Frontline Telecom Then P Clarke Ltd ops
Mgr)
Permanent I was working on Several BT projects and some smaller Telco projects managing
teams of engineers from Cable Gangs/ Jointers to Poling Crews controlling
customer relations and problem resolution. Within this role I am responsible for the
planning and project management improvement of multiple projects and clients.
This includes, full life cycle management, risk management, budgetary and P&L
costs, process improvement, team management, project measurement and
analysis, sub-contract management, the main customer/client interface to the
companies, management of live working change over requirements for the
customer and business needs.

Contractor CIS Working on several projects part time helping develop new products and systems to
include GPS, GSM, Wireless LANs and RFID Tracking Data centre moves and
audit systems which involved the set-up of several small IT Companies to promote
these products employed on a consultancy basis, evaluating Risk, product
development and business development. I managed the moving of a company into
new premises including all desktop and Server/communications rooms.

Surveys, also working with Computacenter and WIPRO upgrading infrostucture and Systems Additionally finding what software, was compatible with Win7 and what required Remediation, In addition, also migrating all existing email out and into the N Power secure cloud, in this role, I am also the External dependences Manager, which covers all new projects across the business, aligning them to PC Refresh and managing their dependences and deployment dates so there are no conflicts and making sure any new Applications or version of applications are brought into scope Previous Employment Senior Project Manager March 2013 - Dec 2013 Working with Line Management on a large Data centre in Finland, managing and planning all major integration projects, within the complex, in addition the planning and installation of fibre and copper, for all areas and the cluster area in addition planning and installing various projects, covering all communications rooms and all systems within the project to include, looking after H&S and welfare of all staff on this large busy site Due to Non disclosure this is all I can say about the project Previous Employment Senior Project Manager Contractor CIS Working with BAA on the Maximo asset database, ,working with both Version 7.5 and Version 8 cleaning incorrect Data from the Database and replacing with new descriptions for all assets from the Common Language, redefining and renewing all the assets on Heathrow airport, working on Processes and delivery of capturing all systems and assets affecting all terminals to encompass all outside offices and buildings including but not limited to all life safety systems, Lifts Escalators walkways etc moving on into Fire systems communications systems and all other assets at Heathrow This although not my normal Project Management role is well within my capabilities and knowledge base Nov 2010 – Nov 2012 Senior Project Manager Electranet UK Permanent Senior Project Manager working on major projects such as the London 2012 Olympics, after gaining the project as the LOCOG Gap cabling Manager, I was involved in the original Bid management team’s dealings with LOCOG, enabling me to create a detailed project plan and Project Manage all aspects of the design and installation, of all venues and off park sites, which started with a 1.6m order from LOCOG. In addition I had to Manage, a team of 120 full time engineers copper and Fibre, cabling specialists. Establish relationships and manage expectations of stake holders and venue management. During this time I was responsible for all 167 sites and venues, quoting, planning and installing the Timing and scoring cabling for OMEGA, and all scoreboard cabling fibre and copper for Panasonic, all OFCOM cabling fibre and copper, in addition any cabling that was not being covered by BT such as all Audio cabling, and all other Capture technology cabling and equipment requirements for all functional areas and provide within budget solutions. Also cabling both Copper and Fibre for the outside broadcast team, Work with international service providers such as BT, Omega Panasonic, OFCOM, and various audio companies’. Produce detailed network designs including containment, cable routes and fibre patch cabinets. Perform consolidation exercises to reduce expenditure while protecting user requirements Review and update architectural technology drawings (CADs). Produce detailed cabling schedule prioritising key areas and taking into consideration all Venue User Agreements. Schedule and oversee the installation of all technology Cabling and ensure accuracy as per the venue design, Plan and manage the post-competition removal of all installed cabling. During this time I was responsible for the ordering equipment and arranging for resource for all sites, also acting as the Health and Safety manager for all the installation’s producing site specific RAMS also resolving all issues, in a timely manner to allow the successful completion of the games.

Integration Manager Working with several Hotels chains including, acting as Site Integration Manager/ Senior project Manager on the new Corinthia 6 Star Hotel in Whitehall London, my responsibilities included managing the 1.3m P&L for the initial contract including all communication installations, within the new build, such as Planning installation and design of the CCTV, security system, Alarm System, PBX system, Wireless LAN installation, planning and completing the Data network and Comms rooms Builds including electrical, structural and cabling installation, this also included several Satellite dishes and the terrestrial aerial, implementing delivery processes to ensure the Corinthia Hotel was delivered in time and within budget, this includes the overall system installation and integration, in addition installing the Bose sound system and several other systems site wide, additional areas such as the new Spar, Gym and residential Apartments, were all connected back to the main comms room and systems, making them compatible with the Main Hotel Another Hotel delivered at this time covered the running of BAU and new installations was the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Royal suite Oct 2009 – Nov 2010 Consultant IT Network consultants Contractor CIS Trouble Shooter Business advisor, assisting with several projects, working on Presales from bid management through product planning and execution through to delivery and signoff Within this role my responsibilities included assisting with Presales and identify opportunities for product innovation and product enhancements, also Maintain a full understanding of market conditions and customer needs at the same time assisting the Project Managers with Bid Management, Planning and Integration with this gaining customer confidence and in some cases regaining customer conference. From Presales, Project Governance, RFP, Bid management, PID completion, Implementation, Planning, change and Risk Management, through to conclusion and signoff. This required me to assist the customers in developing new networking systems; on a UK wide basis. During this time I completed projects as a senior Customer Project manager for companies such as JANET(UK), NHS, and local Government. The projects involved the installation of Fibre and copper links, CCTV traffic management systems, WiMax installations, Network equipment for hospitals, local Government buildings, schools, Colleges, small and large companies across the UK, these included Network rail camera installation, ICT Infrastructure to Greenfield sites. WAN./LAN / CCTV/ Mobile Networks and Active Directory PABX, PBX and VOIP systems. In addition Health and Safety, moves and changes, Billing, method statements, risk assessments and design changes, were included. In addition I was the NTL PCR, with the responsibility for the whole site, managing all the contract companies, safety awareness and arranging DAB’s meetings (Daily Activity Briefing) for contractors and BA/ BAA staff.
