3. Demographics
The demographics of our target audience range from C2 to E. These
are the people who we assume that will watch our movie in the future.
This is because they tend to have free time to watch our movie. The
people that come under this category starting with E are, those who
are in education and casual workers. D are people who are semi
skilled and unskilled manual workers. C1 are those who are builders,
blue collar workers and plumbers. Finally the C2 are those who are
nurses and white collar workers. However it can be argued that our
trailer can be associated with all the demographics which include B
which are middle class and A who are upper middle class. This is
because our trailer is a horror trailer and any kind of people can watch
the movie in the future.
4. Psychographics
The type of people that may watch are trailer for our future film are those
who are explorers. These are people who are adventurous and full of
energy. These people are those who are up for new things and no afraid to
try new things. These people are supposedly young people.
Also another people under the psychographics category are those who are
aspirers. These people like to be in trend with things. They are seen as
materialistic and charismatic.
In addition those who are reformer I assume will see our movie in the future.
This is because they are free from restrictions and engage in personal
growth. They are not materialistic but aware of things that are seen as bad
taste.
However again it can be argued that horror films/trailers can be associated
with all the categories of the psychographics. These are strugglers,
succeeders and resigned.
5. Uses and Gratification
The trailer that we are creating is intended to show our
demographics and psychographic audiences through our
characters. This is by creating characters that the audience
can identify with. This includes characters like the
jock/pervert and a nerd.
