Purpose: to eliminate the
causes of industrial unrest by
settling all issues, grievances
and controversial matters.

his family in providing for
their economic security.
Example:
purpose of employee benefits is to
increase the economic security of staff
members, and in doing so, improve worker
retention across the organization
Personnel Emergency Relief
Allowance (PERA)
 All employees are granted the
Emergency Relief Allowance
Case: PRIVATE CORP.
 Addition to PERA –- CBA provides
add-ones to regular employees
MANAGERS
(and up)
Are not
entitled to
PERA but are
given power
allowances.
Christmas Gratuity
Paid Leaves of Absence
Vacation Leaves
Sick Leaves
Bereavement Leave
Maternity Leave
Social Security System Benefits
 Hazards of disability
 Sickness
