Amazing projects • Danish Demographical Database: 954 people, 20 years, + 15 mio. posts • Copenhagen City Archives: 400 people, 1 ½ year, 1, 4 mio. posts • Nygaards indexcards: 5 people, 14 months, 425.000 photos 40 people, 14 months 425.000 posts indexed
Why do they do it? • The project is important - not the institution • An urge to help people like themselves • Making a lasting ressource is important • Aknowledgement is necessary
