2. The League of Nations was to be an
organization where representatives of the
world´s Nations would meet settle their
difference by discussion instead of war. It
was founded in Geneva Switzerland in
1919.
3. In the year 1914 the world was involved
in a conflict (The Great War).
The war had finished in 1918 and The
Treaty of Versailles was created. It was the
peace settlement signed after World War
One.
4. In 1918, The president of The United
States Woodrow Wilson gave a speech
with a special contribution called “The
Fourteen Points”
“Point # 14: A general association of
nations must be formed under specific
covenants for the purpose of affording
mutual guarantees of political
independence and territorial integrity to
great and small states alike”.

English, French and Spanish
The permanent members were:
Great Britain: Italy:
France: Japan

However, the islands had traditionally
belonged to Finland and The League
decided in favor of Finland.

Upper Silesia and after agreements with
The League of Nations they decided to
split Upper Silesia between Germany and
Poland
12. It is a result of a border conflict where
Greece decide to invade Bulgaria after the
Bulgarian militaries killed a Greek soldier.
Nevertheless, The League intervened and
ordered the withdrawal of the Greek Army
and a economic sanction.

League Of Nations had few successes.
Members: The nations involved rarely had
communication.
Bullies: The League excluded countries
such as Russia and Germany.
