Toronto ON Canada, September 27, 2011 – Vortex Connect announces the appointment of Dan Huber as the SVP
of Sales and Jeff Elder as the VP of Technology. Vortex, a Business-to-Employee mobile software company with a
focus on workforce management, has been growing exponentially since spinning off from Vortex Mobile in 2009.
The addition of these two workforce management and enterprise software experts to its team will help propel the
company through its next set of growth milestones.
Huber joins Vortex from CyberShift where he was the VP of Sales focusing on mid and large enterprise market.
Dan is viewed as a trusted advisor amongst his clients and has over 17 years of workforce management expertise.
Prior to CyberShift he was a sales executive at Red Prairie, Workbrain (Infor), Workstream and Ceridian.
Elder joins Vortex from Genesis Worldwide where he was the Director of Software Development for their
optimization, workforce management, collaboration and wireless shop floor data capture products. Elder has
over 10 years of experience in developing enterprise software products and has been a key team member for
building a successful product team. Prior to Genesis, Jeff was a Co-Founder of Workbrain (Infor) and he was the
Senior Director of Software Development with a team of 50 Engineers reporting to him. As well, he has also been
a Project Implementer and Engineer for CyberShift and Lotek Engineering.
