Theoretical Framework Reflection
Dannae Del Campo Méndez
As a future teacher to be, this assignment was of a great help for me because it helped me to
internalize the different principles of language assessment. These principles will be necessary for
any teacher to create good instruments to assess and evaluate students at schools. Since I will
teach students, it is necessary to check that they are learning properly and if the way I am teaching
the contents is the correct one. That is why designing a test must be done carefully, so we as
teachers, can give students a proper feedback and make sure that our teaching process is being
effective.
There is no doubt that learning about assessment will enrich my professional practicum
experience. Moreover, I will deliver a better performance at the moment of being fair with my
students when creating a test that will reach the standards of a good instrument.
