2. Frames are supplied mitred with cast frame joiners. Assembled Frames or
Un-assembled Frames must be specified on order form.
Default hinges are Aluminum Powder Coated Lift-off Hinges and Stainless Steel
Lift-off Hinges. Aluminum hinges are powder coated to match panels and factory fitted.
Default catch is a white plastic Canoe Clip . Different sizes of canoe
clips are applied on different frames.
D mould Stiles, with inserted black or white brush padding are available. Use a
“D” on the layout code to designate D mould stile panel.

Frames, T posts, hinges and gaps between are required to made deduction.
T posts (#4237589) will be spaced between equal sized panels
unless position is nominated on order form.
Only the minimum number of T Posts required to hinge the opening are covered

3. Care & Maintenance
Your YFA Shutters have been supplied with a protective tape over the stiles and

The surface of your YFA Shutters must be kept clean, as dirt, grime and airborne salt
deposits from the atmosphere can damage the coating. For external applications we
recommend cleaning every three months and at least every six months. A shorter interval
may be necessary in marine or other corrosive environments.
Preventative
maintenance
Spray WD40 or similar marine grade lubricant on blade
pivots (at the end of the blade between the blade and the
stile). Wipe away excess with a soft dry cloth.
Clean, dry and spray with marine grade lubricant such as
CRC Marine 66, WD4o or Inox-Care
Apply Petroleum Jelly or WD40 to the inner lip of each side
of the track. Ensure that the wheels or trolleys pass through
the lubricant and it is distributed evenly along the track. Put
additional lubricant around the bearings.
After long service some change of colour, loss of gloss or chalking may be expected.
