This document discusses two sustainable housing projects: Jubilee Wharf in Penryn, Britain and Via Verde in the Bronx, New York. Jubilee Wharf was designed by ZEDfactory and features solar panels, a wood pellet boiler, and other sustainability features. Via Verde in the Bronx is a mixed-income housing project designed by Grimshaw Architects and Dattner Architects on a brownfield site. It includes green roofs, earns LEED Gold certification, and was supported by NYSERDA. Both projects aim to achieve environmental, social, and economic sustainability through their mixed-use and mixed-income designs.
