Where is each part on a plant?
•Roots take in water
and food from the soil.
•They hold the plant in
place.
•The stem helps to support the
plant.
•The stem is the elevator that
 takes the food and water to
 the rest of the plant
The leaves take the energy
from the sun and turn it into
energy for the plant. This is
called photosynthesis.
•The flower attracts insects by
its color and smell so insects can
 pollinate the flower.
•After being pollinated, the
flower makes the seeds.
