Shamanic Creativity Retreat for Women

This Retreat offers a safe and exciting space to dive fully into the centre of your creativity to celebrate
your unique expressions through the ancient practice of the shamanic journey, ritual, mask-work, creative
media, dance empowerment tools and working with and in nature.
Tapping into the energy of this special time of Samhain/ Halloween/ All Souls when
the ‘veil between the world is thinnest’, this retreat will support you to:
• strengthen the connection to your creative power;
• sensitively work with possible obstacles and hesitations you might encounter;
• make space to honour, celebrate and affirm your unique creative talents and expressions.
• explore tools to ground creativity in our lives and establish daily practice;
Being led by the shamanic journey we will ground the teachings in working with creative media such as clay,
mask-work, dance, painting, writing and ritual. We will also work closely with the beautiful environment in and
around Tilton house and weather permitting, will create a fire ritual of release and affirmation.
You do not need any artistic skills or experience in any creative media only an openness to explore your own creative potential. There will be an introduction to shamanic
journeying on the retreat, however some previous experience in shamanic work is helpful, as this workshop it is not primarily an in-depth introduction to Shamanism and
shamanic practice. I am happy to offer an introduction to shamanic journeying with a concessionary rate before the retreat.

2. Shamanism is the oldest spiritual life way holding the view that all things are connected and everything that exists has a living spirit.
Shamanic practice is a path of the heart, which helps us to connect more deeply and fully with ourselves, with other people, nature, our
Creativity and with spirit-helpers in various forms. Through the way of the shamanic journey we ask for help, advice, knowledge or
healing and after receiving the requested help we look at how these teachings can be integrated into everyday life.

Practicalities: We start on Friday at 5pm (arrival from 4pm) and finish Sunday at 4pm.
Venue: Tilton House is a beautiful, inspiring place nestled underneath the South Downs with a long, creative history, close to Charleston
Farmhouse and is only 20 minutes from Brighton. The nearest train station is Berwick, which is on the Eastbourne line from London

Cost is £310 all inclusive of accommodation in twin rooms (double £50 supplement), delicious vegetarian food, teaching and all materials;
few concessionary places available, please enquire.
Early bird price until 17th of September 2010 £290 . If two people are booking together at the same time: £285 each
Deposit of £200 will secure your place. If for some reason you are unable to make the retreat, the following applies: a full refund will be returned
if notice is given one month prior to start of the retreat; Half deposit will be returned 2 weeks prior to start
of the retreat; any later than this and no deposit will be returned unless you can fill your space with another person.
