6. Our final product
• I think our film is more directed at a
mainstream audience as we have used
conventions of ‘classic’ horror film.
• The films we textually analysed were all
mainstream films, from these films we built up
conventions and applied them to our own film
• Although low budget our film did use special
effects and I think would be classed more as a
mainstream product

7. Audience
• The type of audience we were aiming our film
at is obviously mainstream but of an age range
of about 15 and up
• We decided this on the grounds that most of
the horror film we textually analysed were this
age rating
