- We could of course change the names if someone is really offended with the choices of names Carlos Pedro Javier
- Note: Maemo 5 themes do not include sounds See also Settings->Display for settings for touch screen feedback, device lock, etc.
- Desktop screens – Max 4 Number of built-in background image sets: about 14 Built-in Themes: 2 (Nokia N-Series and Digital Nature) Widgets available on the device: RSS, Location, Media Player, Calendar Available for download and install: Facebook, AP News, Amazon, Foreca Weather, etc
- Changing the ring tone directly from the media player Things are Open Source, so Joe Blow just has to find David Developer and suggest some changes in Maemo Brainstorm… Of course special covers are nowhere to be found as of now… maybe later
- <dot> is not absolutely needed Background moves along the finger, foreground faster – creates parallax effect
- Hidden=true makes the file invisible in the file manager
- Coming in future: Transitions (PR 1.1)
- Some updates in the horizon, e.g. Update to sales release (RSS reader applet buttons) can be used for both, but older versions are for Diablo (only Fremantle template come with newer versions)
- Desktop, Media Player, Clock, Application Manager, (Start-up wizard)
- There are more than 400 icons on the device. This is just a subset of all possible icons There will be sizing guides in this file as well (I think all are 64x64)
- In fact so much work that I am nowhere close to create my first complete theme – even though I started preparing for the presentation well in advance
- This is by no means an exhaustive list I would not manually edit the themes directory – too much work. Use Theme Maker instead stefan kost
