1. Choosing the actors
As both Ian and me are actors, we have been tasked with the job of
picking actors for our music video. We have decided that the
performance as in the band and the acting is more important than
star image as we are doing a rock/punk video and that is more
conventional.
Daniel West
I decided to act in our music video as I enjoy the song we are doing
and also understand what we want with the video and it could make
it run smoother as I will be able to go through the video
with relative ease. During the live performance part of
the video I will be playing the bass guitar and as I have
some knowledge of how to play it and could make that
part look more realistic as I will know where to put my
fingers etc.
Ian Chapman
Ian also decided to act in our video as he also enjoys the
song we are doing and also understands the direction
we both want the video to go in and will be able to act
without making many mistakes. He is acting in the live
performance section only and will be a member of the
band as well, he can play guitar and owns a guitar
which will make miming the song easy and getting hold
of the instrument simple.
Ben Chapman
We asked Ben to act in our video as the drummer within our band for
the live performance. We asked him as he goes to our college and has
a lot of the same frees as me and Ian, making filming with him easy as
we are good friends with him and can record with him at any time.
Liam Walker
We asked Liam to be in our video as the singer for our band during
the live performance portion of our music video. We asked him to be
in our video as he goes to the same college as us and will be able to
get hold of him for when we need to film. We could make him look a
part of the genre and dress him in conventional clothing.
