4. Why am I responsible for this? Texas Teacher STaR Chart Completed by individual teachers and correlates with the Campus STaR Chart. Mandatory since 2006-2007 school year. Is beneficial in helping to set benchmarks and goals. Measures student and teacher proficiencies with regard to the integration of technology into all content areas.
5. How does it affect my teaching? Assesses technology preparedness in Texas Schools. Teachers must prepare students to thrive and be successful in the 21st Century. The legislation also requires that all students should be technology literate by the time they leave the eighth grade.
