Maple-Vail provides complete warehousing and fulfillment
services at our three state-of-the-art Distribution Centers in
York, Lebanon and Mount Joy, Pennsylvania. Each of these
locations is supported by our proprietary systems that have
been specifically designed to enable us to efficiently provide
a wide range of services. These include receiving, racked
storage, bulk and drop shipping, pick-and-pack, individual
cartoning, lettershop capabilities, and returns processing.
The Maple-Vail Distribution Centers are strategically located
near main trucking routes and bulk mail centers. This
permits our customers to minimize transportation and
mailing costs. Our locations allow for the overnight delivery
of ground shipments to over half of the U.S. population.
These capabilities and resulting cost advantages make
Maple-Vail an ideal partner for Infocrossing.
The employees in our facilities pride themselves on the speed
and accuracy of our shipments. The vast majority are processed
and shipped in a day or less, with over 98% shipped in under 48
hours. This performance is supported by outstanding inventory
control that provides accurate and timely reporting to Maple-Vail
customers on the status of product in our facilities.
Supporting our operational performance is a barcode system
which enables us to track product from receipt through shipment
at an inventory accuracy rate exceeding 99.5%. This precise
process updates inventory records, maintains accurate shipping
costs, verifies the accuracy of pick-and-pack shipments,
confirms shipments, processes returns, and updates inventory
levels. T1 communication lines support the ability for the quick
and accurate transmission of information at all times.
Maple-Vail offers a complete array of services at our Distribution Centers to effectively complement those provided by
Infocrossing to our shared customers. The specialty services we provide include the following:
