Here is a great way to learn to use Reference USA as a search tool for US companies. Tips are inlcuded on how to download and save to excel or import into Outlook.

2. Access though your public Library

3. Need your own library card #

4. Search on US Businesses or

5. New Businesses

6. Main search – US Businesses

7. Quick Search

8. Custom Search

9. Highlight search items

10. How to save a detailed search

11. Save to Excel format or

12. Save to comma delimited format(Best for importing to OUTLOOK)

13. Save the file to your PC

14. Name the file

15. Output in Excel format

16. Output in comma separated(preferred for OUTLOOK)

17. In Outlook- click on File Import

18. Importing the file into Outlook

19. Find your file & point to “contacts”

20. Import the file and map the fields

21. Drag & drop left to right

22. Be sure to check Import,then click to Finish

23. Open outlook and search on name

24. View contacts and add email address and notes about contact

25. Questions??? Can I print out the company information with out saving it first?? YES, but it is restricted to 25 prints per session.
