5. - Obesity is a medical condition in which
excess body fat has accumulated to the
extent that it may have an adverse
effect on health, leading to reduced life
expectancy and/or increased health
problems.
- Is caused by a combination of excessive
daily calories.

9. - Body Mass Index
- Is a measurement which compares weight and
height.
- Defines people as overweight (pre-obese) when
their BMI is between 25kg/m2 and 30kg/m2
- Obese when it is greater than 30kg/m2

 Overweight : 25 – 29.9

11.  Control on your diet. Replace oily foods with steam or
boiled food.
 Parents should be concern of their children’s health
especially in terms of what they eat. Encourage them to
eat healthy food.
 Encourage the children to involved in outdoor activities.
Organized sports like running, hiking, cycling etc
 Self discipline.
 For the obese people, it is best for them to get a
personal trainer to lose weight in workouts.
