If you feel that you haven't been making enough progress in your personal development

wouldn't make sense to develop a trait that was contrary to who you are. Instead, focus on all
that is important in your life, and work to improve those things. By doing this, changes that
you choose to make will be much easier to adhere to.
Unless you are self-sufficient, you cannot expect to be able to care for another person. It
doesn't matter where you are in life; you need to take the time for rest and relaxation.
Are you a heavy drinker? Are there other such vices harming your body such as smoking or
recreational drug use? Your body is what you live in every day and therefore consideration
for its well being should be a priority. Eliminating bad habits can be a very essential part of
improving your life. Take an honest look at your traits and proclivities and figure out where
you can make changes.
When dealing with depression issues, altering your diet to include a greater intake of
complex carbohydrate may help. Serotonin can lower if you don't eat enough carbs. Eating
more fresh fruits and vegetables along with nuts, legumes and whole grains can boost the
amount of these carbohydrates that you take in.
You can help yourself have a better life, and it really isn't as scary or complicated as you may
have thought. By taking the bull by the horns and putting some effort into changing things
about your life that need to be more desirable, the rewards will be too numerous to mention.
