Each grade level is different and requires a details outline of study. Fortunately, the goals in the standard course of study provide a great guide for teachers to follow. From one grade to the next, objectives help instructors and students identify and apply the necessary tools to accomplish goals in technology for the school year.
When a teacher can help with the decision process, it helps them align their lesson plans around the available resources. When working with other teachers, they can share ideas and equipments to best function as a whole for their students.
Most importantly, before a teacher can order, create a budget and negotiate the best technological products for their students, they must have knowledge of the products and how best to utilize them. I feel like when a teacher is not included in the purchasing, wrong items could be ordered, thus by slowing down the teaching process in the classroom and causing frustration for the teacher and student.
