1. Week 2 Exploration:
Storyboard

2. Before I started the MCBS Program I was
in a fog about where to go next in my
career and entrepreneurial pursuits.

3. I had just left an organization doing creative projects
and video editing for them and I realized that even
though I didn’t want to be a part of the organization
anymore, I really loved what I was doing.

4. I had always thought I wanted to have my
own business doing what I loved.

5. I love to manage projects and work
behind the scenes in the creative
process.

6. For me, it was not even work and I enjoy
seeing the finished results.

7. But then I tried to go out on my own and realized
that I did not have the proper skills, equipment,
and software to do the quality work I wanted to do.

8. I knew these were some things I
needed to acquire.

9. Because of that I knew I needed more
guidance, education, and experience
before going out and doing this on my
own.

10. The only option I knew that I had in order
to get the skills and credentials that I
wanted was to go back to school.

11. Because of that I started to search for good
schools that will help you further your
education without having to take classes
that you do not need.

12. I had an Associates Degree in Psychology because
of the organization I was a part of, and during that
experience I was bored to death with the
curriculum that I had to go through.

13. Because of that I decided to keep searching
and I remembered a friend of mine
speaking about their time at Full Sail
studying music production.

14. They explained how Full Sail gave them a
Launchbox with everything they needed to
turn their room into a recording studio.

15. So I started to do my own research on the school
and I saw and heard mostly great things.

16. Until finally I decided to give them a call and
enroll in the Media Communications Bachelors
of Science Degree Program and I knew that it was
a great decision.

17. At first I was thinking of doing Graphic
Design, but I realized that would really put
a limit on what I really wanted to do.

18. I immediately started learning relevant
and interesting things related to the media
communications industry.

19. And every since I decided to pursue my
passion for media and digital creativity I
finally feel like I am going in the right
direction.

20. I get such a great feeling of fulfillment in
putting my all into everything that I do
here at Full Sail.
