and people aren't quite Sure if he was born in
1570 but scientists think that he was born in
the 1560’s and he was lost at sea in 1611.

Hudson got a job at the Muscovy company.
Hudson started his first voyage in 1629 with
10 men.
His ship was called half Moon.
His other ship was the Hopewell.

4.  Hudson tried to find the northwest passage
to Asia but failed 4 times. On the 4th time he
was at sea in what is now the Hudson Bay.

voyage for the Dutch.

7.  Hudson saw a large body of water leading
north. He thought that was the northwest
passage but the northwest passage didn’t
exist.

8.  When Henry Hudson got sponsored by the
English the 4th voyage he went to go look for
the Northwest passage and got stuck in what
is now Hudson Bay and his people didn’t
think he knew what he was doing so they
mutinied him and was never seen again.
