Youth Support Worker (Mental Health)
Employer: Off the Record (Bristol)
Salary: £17,161 - £19,126 (SCP 18-21) pro
rata
Hours: Part-Time (15 Hours p/wk).

Details of role
Working as part of a small but dedicated team from our offices on St Michaels Hill and at The Sta-
tion in central Bristol, you will provide one-off sessions in person and over the phone to young
people seeking emotional support. You will help young people access our various therapeutic ser-
vices, offering information and follow-up care and ensuring OTR is able to offer all young people
meaningful and effective support.
This is an established role but a new model of delivery. You will need brilliant interpersonal skills
and the ability to build effective relationships with young people from across Bristol’s diverse
neighbourhoods and communities. You will have a personal commitment to issues relating to the
mental health and social position of young people, and a willingness to undergo therapeutic train-
ing and contribute to the the implementation and refinement of the new service model.
