Tips on Micro-Teaching (Face to Face)
1. Make sure that the font size of the visual aids is visible for the
students who are setting at the back.
2. Observe proper color combination for the visual aids.
3. See to it that all visual aids are strongly pasted onthe board from
left to right for the entire duration of the class.
4. Observe punctuality and proper grooming.
5. After the prayer and greetings, let the students pick up some
pieces of trash and arrange their chairs properly before letting
them take their seats.
6. Do not forget to have a review of the previous lesson.
7. Motivate the class through engaging them into a certain
interactive activity and question and answer.
8. Letthe students read the subjectmatterafter you showit to them
on the board.
9. Do not talk when you are facing board.
10.Whenyou write something onthe board,start it from leftto right.
11.When you point out a certain student, do not use one finger
alone, use your whole palm.
12.Throw first the questions, before calling the names of the
students whom you want to answer. HOTS questions are
strongly encouraged.
13.Do not let the students answer your questions in chorus.
14.Do not stay at one corner of the classroom, sometimes roam
around so that all the students can feel your presence.
15.Modulate your voice enough to be audible at the back.
16.When you talk, make an eye to eye contact with your students
for emphasis.

17.Do not forget to integrate values to the lesson.
18.Always have a closure before proceeding to assessment.
19.Provide clear instructions to any activity in your assessment.
20.Make sure to follow all the procedures or steps of any method
you are using. Don’t skip even one. Failure to follow may
invalidate your micro-teaching.

1. Make sure that you have a strong internet connection,
functional camera and microphones,fully charge PCs or CPs
and comfortable venue free from distraction and noise.
2. Mute the microphones of your students whenever necessary.
Unmute only if you need them to speak or participate and
ask or answer questions.
3. Strongly enforce the students to turn on their camera during
the sessionand use functional microphones from
participation.
4. Observe time management, make sure to discuss the most
significant topics.
5. Follow the tips in micro-teaching (face to face) you think
applicable in virtual. Make sure that your students are still up
with you until the end of the session.
