  • 3. WORDS Words are singularly the most powerful force available to humanity. We can choose to use this force constructively with words of encouragement, or destructively using words of despair. Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble.

TYPES OF SPEECHES PUBLICSPEAKING • Public speaking (somet imes termed oratory or oration) is the process or act of performing a presentation (a speech) focused around an individual directly speakin g to a live audience in a structured, deliberate manner in order to inform, influence, or entertain them. LECTURE/DISCOURSE • A lecture (from the French 'lecture', meaning 'reading' [process]) is an oral presentation intended to present information or teach people about a particular subject, for example by a university or college teacher.
