Founded as an Arizona non-profit corporation.

5. Heritage
• The UA Foundation has done a lot to establish a heritage for the
university.
• It has aided in the renovation of Old Main and Bear Down Gym
(later this year), and has also helped to build brand new buildings
like the Engineering Innovation building (2015) and the
University of Arizona Cancer Center (2015).
• The UA Foundation does a lot to help students financially. Every
year the foundation gives about 200,000 dollars of its money to
the university in scholarships and grants.
6. Heritage
• One of the most successful recent fundraising campaigns for the
foundation was Campaign Arizona.
• Campaign Arizona, by 2005, (after an 8 year drive) raised 1.2
billion dollars, exceeding its 1 billion dollar objective by about
twenty percent.

8. Remained and Changed
•
The restoration and renovation for “saving Old Main”- the UA’s Oldest Building
•
The Pat Tillman Foundation declare the fifth class of Tillman Military Scholars in
advanced of Memorial Day.
•
Various departments made the UA Cares fundraisers of traditions (More than $3.3
million since the campaign’s inception)
