sites for online shopping, but Web shopping
is only a small part of the E-Commerce
picture.
 The major volume of E-Commerce and its
fastest growing segment is business to
business transactions that make purchasing
easier for corporation.
Transaction Processing
System
A transaction processing system (TPS) is an
organized collection of people, procedures,
software, databases, and devices used to
record completed business transactions.
 Process

 Handle routine, yet critical, tasks
 Perform simple calculations

companies to build better customer relationships
through its supply chain. SAP’s software helps,

production so that critical supplies are never
depleted.
