3. I try to grade assignments that are submitted in Blackboard everyday. When you submit an assignment and it shows up as a ! it counts as a zero until I grade it. When I input a 60 it means you did not complete the assignment. If you communicate with me I will work with you about submitting work late. You must let me know when you submit work late! I usually grade EQDB, PBA, and GO later in the week so that you have time to make corrections and submit your replies to classmates. Grading Information
4. Print out the Due Date Chart or write it down at the beginning of every lesson. As you complete the assignments, check it off. There are several assignments that you can work on as you read through the test. You can gather information for your PBA, identify vocabulary, complete the GO, and prepare to answer the EQDB questions. Look through all assignments before you start reading so that you know how to focus your time. Quizzes are open book. Use the book! I do not want to see you guessing six times on a quiz. 5. Just like with any course tests do not include every tiny detail from the text. To help you prepare I suggest you do the following things: 1) Make sure that you can answer the Essential Questions for each lesson. 2) Complete all assignments. You will see a lot over overlap and that will help you focus on important topics. Contribute to the GO and all Wikis. Use this information to help you study. 6. Communication is KEY! I will begin calling students who are failing or not consistently working. If you email, message, or text me please include your name so that I know who I am talking to. Especially with phone calls and text messages. If you are not able to work for more than a day or two you need to let me know. I will work with you. Communication
