costs, from indigenous sources and through Imports.
 Enlarging vendor base and developing quality vendors.
 Issuing different work contracts for the forge shop after issuing tenders.
 Development of Spares, Sealings from indigenous sources as substitutes of imported items
 InterfacingwithR&Dfor necessarymodifications in component design for manufacturability of
components from internal sources.
 Scheduling design of spares & ensuring their timely manufacturing.
 Coordinating with R&D for approval of drawings as per specifications.
 Identifying shortcomings in maximizing availability of equipment for production.
