Gas sensor MQ5
Gas Sensor(MQ5) module is useful for gas
leakage detection (in home and industry). It
is suitable for detecting H2, LPG, CH4, CO,
Alcohol. Due to its high sensitivity and fast
response time, measurements can be taken
as soon as possible. The sensitivity of the
sensor can be adjusted by using the
potentiometer.

Step 2: Configuring Thingspeak Cloud
• Firstly, visit www.thingspeak.com and click on the "Get Started" button to make a
free account.
• Next click on the "New Channel" Give it a name and select two fields.
• Now click on the "Make Public?" check box option.
• Finally click on the "Save Channel" button.
• Click on your new channel and select the API keys tab (third image above). Copy
your "Write API Key" , you will need it in the next step.

STEP 3: Code & Upload

• Just edit these lines with your information in the code & upload it to Arduino :
• String apiKey = "5G0NEIEWV7FQWERTY"; -ThingSpeak key
• String ssid="ATOAST"; - Wifi Hotspot Name
• String password ="123456789"; - Wifi Password
• Monitor Thingspeak Channel Output.
• This code is written in a way that if there is gas leakage then a sensor value will
be pushed to ThingSpeak Channel.

STEP 4: Posting to Pushbullet via ThingSpeak
• First step is to go to PushBullet and make a new free account. Activate your
account.
• Download PushBullet in your mobile.
• Create Access Token in settings.
• Setup the ThingSpeak Http, React App.
• Click New ThingHTTP button, NewReact and Fill Out the Form.
