Directed the club to equip international commerce students with professional skills.
• International Student Panel: I headed a team that put together a panel of 6 notable speakers who
were part of International Alumni of Melbourne University to share their experience and career
advice. The panel included entrepreneurs, Melbourne Business School alumni, bankers from NAB
and accountants from KPMG.
• Permanent Residency Workshop: I negotiated and planned the content to be discussed in advance
with our partners, Mr Andy Ellen and Ms Nerada, who were legal advisor and IELTS professional,
to give a talk on how to strategically apply for permanent residency. This is because it involved
sensitive intellectual property rights of the solicitor and the trainer.
• LinkedIn Workshop: This workshop received overwhelming response as my team engaged
prominent guest speaker Mr Naren Chellapah, who is an expert from AIESEC, to teach attendees
how to network effectively with professionals by building an impressive LinkedIn profile.

• Annual Boat Cruise – What The Funk Night: As an overall in-charge of the organisers, my
creative marketing skill of promoting the event with a mascot on campus was proven effective as
we achieved record breaking attendance.
• Toastmasters: I organised a masterclass conducted by Toastmaster for our members, which also
allowed me to experiment creative public speaking by including ‘out-of-the-box’ ideas.
• AIESEC – Resume Writing Workshop: My team worked hand in hand with Mr Naren Chellapah
to give the attendees a seminar on effective resume writing by understanding the background of
the company.
• Shell Interviewing Skills: The head of recruitment manager from Shell (Malaysia) gave our
members advices on impressing the panel of interviewers by acknowledging our weaknesses and
deriving a plan to improve on them.
